Alpha Star Entertainment is a booking agency that puts artists with venue's and concert series. If you are a venue looking for an artists that is National or Regional we have the artists for you. Our artists book from under a thousand dollars and up so we have the artists to fit your budget.
Vernon Ramsey formerly of Macho Productions in Los Angeles, California, moved to the Carolina's where he formed Alpha Star Entertainment. With his prior knowledge of booking groups such as The Beach Boys, Bert Cummings of the Guess Who, Carlos Santana and many others at large scale concerts he was in the right position to form the company that has become widely known around the East Coast. He and his wife Wanda Ramsey have a unique style when it comes to finding the right artists to fit the venue's. Our Artists have performed in Nashville at the Nashville Palace as well as Tootsie's Orchard Lounge. We also have a wide variety of venue's located all along the eastern coast that range in size from 100 people to 50,000 people.
During the years that Alpha Star has been in business we have formed some wonderful Nashville Contacts that help us book top names to any location. We are proud to include Bobby Roberts of Nashville, Tootsie Record Company and Acts Nashville as some of the professionals that we work with.
As a booking agency we are always looking for new artists to add to our line-up of artists. If you would like to join the Alpha Star Entertainment family then send us a press kit which should include a bio, head shot photo, past venue's that you have performed with and a CD. We will review the press kit and get in touch with you whether we decide to sign you to a booking contract or not we will follow-up on all press kits.

ALPHA STAR ENTERTAINMENT also has a website on MySpace that allows you to view some artists that we book as well as listen to their music. Most venue's ask for a press kit on the artists so to help elimate this we have added their music to our site at MySpace. This speeds up the booking process and gives less press kit pile-ups for the venue's. We can also email or fax a venue and electronic press kit if needed.

Alpha Star Entertainment offers the finest artists to be found on the East Coast. Each entertainer has had lots of experience playing before groups of 50 up to 50,000. Some are backed by the Coke Cola Company and Coors Lite. Others are regulars in the Rally Magazine. For sure all are well seasoned performers that know how to deliver the best show for any venue. A venue needs to constantly change bands to insure that they stay on top of the place to be. If you stick to a house band then some get bored quick, the songs get stale so your clients start looking for new places to go. Want to keep them coming back time and again then we suggest you alternate the bands at your location. If you find one band that all seem to love then be sure to book them at least twice a month. This way your clients have their favorites as well as new entertainment on a regular basises. If Alpha Star can help you with these alternate bookings then feel free to contact us.
